RootLove is our dream come true. Two passionate souls with big hearts and tons of experience and wisdom have come together on their journeys to create this magical healing place called RootLove.
Our Story
Two worlds collide. Amie comes from the Health, Fitness and Wellness world and David comes from the creative world of Film, Art and Design. Their experience and education combined together is a perfect combination for the creation of a much needed Healing Sanctuary.

They met in Picton, fell in love and manifested a beautiful place they now call RootLove. Amie and David are following their hearts that are leading them down the path of helping others. Throughout their professional and personal lives, they've always been called to serve others who've crossed their paths.

RootLove, is a living extension of their shared values. A safe and healthy space, they call home, where they are opening their doors to guests who are ready to embark on a journey of healing, growth, light and love. They created RootLove together, from scratch, building it from a blank canvas. Their creation comes from their personal experiences and understanding what is needed in today's world. Based on research, feedback from their clients and peers, and their own personal experiences, Amie and David listened and followed their intuitions in creating RootLove.
They wanted to offer their guests a natural environment that promoted a new way of healing their mental health, ailments and diseases. With the healthcare system taxed and many looking for alternatives, RootLove is a place that will enable one to heal from within and adopt a holistic healing approach. Our Sanctuary is also a place for guests to decompress, get grounded and get a new perspective on life.

The Creators
I have worked in the arts for more than 30 years in motion pictures, visual arts, design and theatre. In my international film career, I strived to assure local hires were paid the same as their North American and European counterparts. I have lectured at universities in North America and Europe on my creative experiences and have been providing addictions counselling for more than 18 years.
I have been working in the fitness and wellness field since 2002 as a kinesiologist and personal trainer. Years after, I decided to certify as a life coach to help mentor young women to realize their full potential and provide them with the necessary skills to cope with contemporary challenges. Since 2018, my business expanded serving clients with private wellness retreats and sound healing meditations. My passion for helping people to live happier and healthier lives has lead me to encompass all my expertise under one roof at RootLove.
